Understanding and Education

If you are following and you are someone that will be around our children then you might have some questions. Questions that I too have had. I mean HIV is scary in that noone wants their child to have it. Noone wants to expose themselves to something that could hurt them. That's a rational thought. A thought I have all the time in parenting my children. If I let them do this or that will it hurt them? Will it draw them closer to Christ? So since the adoption process is only a small part of what is happening I'm going to try to regularly post information regarding HIV. How it is transmitted and how it is not. Statistics (math side of me) and prevention. Things like that. And if you have a question feel free to ask it. I'm not offended at all by questions. I was probably a little harsh in what I blogged earlier. I do understand that you might be uneasy about exposing your children and yourself to a potentially fatal disease. So I hope that learning the truth about the risk and other facts about HIV will help and hey, I'm reading all this stuff anyway so I might as well share :)
