Vacation

Yep we were at Disney World. My sweet daughter Patience was the representative for our state for the Children's Miracle Network. They paid for our entire family to fly to Florida ....First Class...(once in a lifetime I'm sure) and also for an amazing hotel and tickets to Disney World. Then they flew 4 of us to Washington DC on a chartered plane, put them in another amazing hotel and did lots more fun things. But...

The highlight of the trip was not all the things we did. It was the events with the sponsors and the other chosen families. We met the most incredible families from the other 49 states plus several from Cananda. Their stories were amazing. I wish I could tell them all to you. The sponsors treated everyone like a super star...red carpet treatment (literally) with lots of cameras and much fuss made over the kids. It was just the most encouraging week to be around so many champions and we are so thankful to have been chosen as a champion family. Since I don't have much else to post on the adoption this week I'll probably just post pictures from our trip but they won't do it justice. Let me just add that Miss America was there also. I have a picture of she and I that I will post. I'm sure you will have a hard time guessing who's who :) Anyway, she sat with my family at one of the events in DC and my husband starts talking to her about Jesus!! Love that husband of mine !!!
