We have an announcement to make. We have officially been blessed to commit to Alexis being our daughter!!!!!!!!!!!! Let the celebrating begin.... God is so good to us. He has blessed us once again and we are rejoicing!!!
Sarah...that did it. I do not want my daughter thinking nobody would want her :( We want her so bad I'm jumping up and down all day celebrating. My kids think they have a crazy woman for a mom!!!
TEARS OF JOY FLOWING DOWN MY FACE!! Oh Sheri... Thank you! You guys are my heroes. Thank you. I cried so hard yesterday when I read on Renee's blog the goodbye story. How sad those kids were that hope was walking out the door. But today - hope is marching right back in. Thank you. Thank you.
Yay!!!!! We have prayed for Alexis for over a year. Each of my kids chose one RR child to pray for and my (then 6 year old) chose Alexis. She is so excited and so am I. Thank you so much for rescuing her!
Congrats Sherri! I saw that blog post last night too and was in tears reading about all the kids and especially Alexis. I knew it must have killed you to hear she was so sad!!! I am sooo happy for you guys!!
I committed to praying during Lent for 4 children to be found by their forever families, Alexis was one of them. It was so wonderful to get an early blessing from God to see that Alexis has a family.
Thank you so much for the kind words. Jessica if all your prayers are answered that quickly I want you praying for me always!!!! It is so amazing to know so many people were praying for Alexis and now we get to have her as a daughter!!! God is good indeed!!
I am SOOOOO EXCITED that you are adopting Alexis. I cannot wait for her to find out that she is being adpoted! The churches in Martinsville, VA have committed to praying for the children of orphanage 39, and she is our first one to get adopted. We are going to be following your blog like crazy. You are AN ANSWER TO PRAYER :) I pray that the Lord blesses you in every way throughout the process.
WOOHOOO!!!! Congrats!! I didn't figure you would be able to wait much longer after Renee's post. :)
