Last days
We have been spending the past few days at the orphanage with Judah. There he's just a normal little boy happy to have parents. I believe he has finally introduced us to every single nanny in the building! He is so excited to have a mama and papa.
Yesterday he and his friend were playing in some water leaking out of the groundskeepers waterhose. We kept telling him to stop but were having little effect. Until, the groundskeeper picked up a rubber hose, started yelling, and chasing the boys....I have never seen Judah move so fast...hard to portray here but we couldn't stop laughing!
When we're at the orphanage all is normal, Judah knows nothing else, but outside the walls everything is new and exciting. It so overloads his sensory system you wouldn't know he was the same boy. The other day when we had him out for twelve hours he was completely undone. Tomorrow we are taking him out forever. It is going to be tough for awhile. I know God will give us the strength to get through this time. We are planning on spending lots of time outside, lots of time praying, and lots of time ignoring things that aren't top priority. I really don't know what life is going to look like at the Duval house for awhile. But God knows. He planned it! What an exciting adventure He has us on!
Tomorrow is Gotcha Day.....a new beginning......I can't wait to see what God has planned!
