Two for one

Today after we safely made it over the Ben Franklin Bridge, about 1/2 a mile to Shriners hospital, our destination, smoke came pouring out of our engine. I was able to make it into the parking garage and to our appointment on time. After our appointment I contacted AAA who found a towing company willing to tow my car across state lines back to New Jersey where our Ronald McDonald House is. Then the  house van was free so the driver picked all six of us up and brought us back to RMDH. Volunteers had cooked a yummy dinner and as we finished eating a group came in and did crafts with  all my kids. Next came an egg hunt with prizes. Once again the Duval kids cleaned up and took the top prizes. Judah found the most eggs and won the Golden egg and grand prize. Did I add that we also had cake and build your own ice cream sundaes? We finished off the night with gift bags full of candy!! Yes, my kids Love it here! Daniel topped all that by coming up to my iPad and saying and signing Dada over and over...so we Skyped Dada!!  Daniel immediately kissed Jim via the IPad and then applauded himself. I'd say the sum of it all was a pretty great day!
