Can we go back? Cast number 7

Well Sasha did not scream again today. Intead she is writhing in pain. The worst I have ever seen her in constant pain. I would much rather have the old drama induced screaming. As I write this I believe the Valium is knocking her out and she will get some relief. This is so hard for her and us. The way we re getting through is lots of prayers. I would Love scripture to encourage us and her. If you have a scripture that would encourage us please put it in the comments. In moments of clarity ...like now we realize it is only Him and His word that sustains us.

  1. Praying for you Sasha! Here is a promise for you!

    Don’t worry—I am with you.
    Don’t be afraid—I am your God.
    I will make you strong and help you.
    I will support you with my right hand that brings victory.
    Isaiah 41:10 ERV

  2. Ps. 56:8-
    You number my wanderings;
    Put my tears into Your bottle;
    Are they not in Your book?

    The Lord isn't missing any moment of your pain, Sasha. He will reward you for you faithfulness in Him. Read the book of Job! The purpose of Job's suffering was God's glory, and through it and afterward, Job was blessed abundantly. ((((hugs))))

  4. "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

    Romans 8:18

    Not exactly applied correctly, but it'll overall reminder that suffering ends and in the end there's no suffering is what got us through five months of casting for our newest adopted treasure and six months with our bio daughter.

  5. When I said, “My foot is slipping,”
    your unfailing love, Lord, supported me.
    When anxiety was great within me,
    your consolation brought me joy.~Psalm 94:18-19

    I know you both feel like "your foot is slipping", but He's there...your RR family is praying for you.

  6. There are so many psalms that I find comfort in, but this verse jumped out at me tonight. Maybe because there are a couple of hymns based on this verse that pop in my head, too. Praying for you Sasha, and you too, Sherrie!

    Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
    Matthew 11:28-30

    This one, too:

    Take courage; the time is near for God to heal you; take courage.
    Tobit 5:10
    God Bless!
