Another bonus!!

Adoption friends!!! Yes, they are a bonus in this whole process. Kind of like when you are pregnant at the same time as a good friend. It is so fun to follow the journey of those adopting at the same time. Especially....those adopting friends of your child. How cool is that. Same orphanage, same groupa, close to the same time to bring them home.

I have made some amazing friends though the adoption world. Not to leave out all the other amazing friends God has given me!!!! A friend of mine (you know who you are) calls them my pretend friends :) because we only know each other online (she means it as a joke btw). But, I feel like we are family. There is a bond there like other bonds God gives us when we go through exceptional times in our lives together. Maybe its because we are adopted that adoption is such a unifier. It is such a picture of who we are or who we were. Once orphans but now taken in by a loving father.

It truly is an amazing community. We share joys (the children) and trials (the paperwork and government red tape). We laugh together, cry together and pray together. And it's not just those that adopt but those that have a heart for the orphan. It is a beautiful thing to love what the world does not.

Today I saw a a new listing for a child that needs a family. Right away these beautiful people recognized the beauty of this precious child. I'm sure you will agree he is a handsome little guy with some amazingly squeezable cheeks. So I see once again the adoption world rally around him and I bet you will start to see him showing up on blogs...like this one :)...advocating for him a family. I mean really who wouldn't want friends like that !!!!!! Feel free to pray, donate or adopt this little guy...just sayin.

This little new guy is missing both arms and his left leg athe the thigh. His right leg is very short and not formed correctly.

Trent is so young — perfect age to get him into a family!
